왜 소각인가? 상품권·기프트카드 바코드를 카톡·메모·미리보기에서 반투명으로만 가린 사진을 보내면, 아래에 바코드가 남아 “복원” 앱·이미지 필터로 다시 읽을 수 있다는 피해 사례가 있습니다. 이 페이지의 가리기는 레이어를 올리는 게 아니라 해당 픽셀을 지우는 방식입니다.
Why burn-in? Gift-card barcodes covered only with a translucent scribble in chat/notes/preview can still sit in the image — and “barcode restore” apps or filters may recover them. Scams rely on that. Masking here is not a layer on top; it permanently removes those pixels.
